The weather forecast said there was a cool change on its way. We got the beginnings of it on Tuesday evening. The port at buzet is also a popular parking area for motorhomes so there is plenty of space and outdoor seating. We cook dinner on the boat and then move to a picnic table to eat. The cool breeze also makes a bike ride inviting for the first time in days. We head along the bike path, travelling in the direction we came from today. The path is lining with trees, with leaves falling on us as we ride through - either premature signs of autumn or the heat taking its toll.
Dad spied a tractor in a beautiful garden so him and I stop to investigate. The garden has dahlias, roses, lillies, among others. The owner, who is at work in the paddock when we ride up, explains that he sells the flowers. He speaks quite good English and gives Dad a demonstration of the tractor while I play with the dog. Waving a cigarette in one hand in a rather camp manner, he invites us to walk around his rose garden while he gets back to work. We do for a little bit before continuing on our ride.
